Happy Holiday Season!

Several times in the last week I have woken to the lovely circumstance of birds offering wonderful sounds outside my window. If I were to ignore the chill in the air, I could pretend that it was spring again! I can’t remember hearing this many birds at this time of year. Their beautiful songs go on all day. It is wonderful.

Another wonderful sound opportunity is coming up. On December 3rd at 5:50 pm in front of City Hall, the Sonoma United Methodist Church Handbell Choir will perform at the Hospice Tree Lighting Ceremony I have been a member of this handbell choir for over six months. I played handbells as young person and was very excited to find out about this choir here in town. If you are interested in joining the handbell choir, there are opportunities for children and adults. You need not be a member of the Methodist Church to play in the choir. Our adult group practices Monday’s from 4:45-6:00pm. Email veronica@rontor.com and I will connect you with the choir leaders.

I recently had the pleasure of watching a video of The Raleigh Ringers. They are an amazing handbell choir from North Carolina. I was captivated. Give yourself a treat and check out the video of them performing Christmas Eve ( Sarajevo 12/24) it is 3 1/2 minutes of WOW!

Be sure to visit the Sonoma Valley Calendar to add your events and learn about what is coming up here in the Valley. It is free to add events and free to browse. Please tell a friend!

Until next time,
